Blog Bananza
Its MONDAY!!!! I have to make it seem like I'm excited about it but really I'm not...I'm back in my office doing everything but actual work lol. Randomly with work I seem to spend my mornings doing nothing but after lunch I have the sudden urge to be productive and do as much work as I can so I don't fall behind. Once Thursday or Friday hits I don't even want to look at a piece of paper.
So to pass time today I have been going Blog Crazy. Like literally sitting here staring at numerous blogs trying to figure who I would like to follow and read about weekly. I hope that one day my blog would get as much traffic as others but I realized that even if that doesn't happen Ill still be happy that I am keeping up with my life.
While looking at all these lovely females blogs I saw that a lot of them want to be fashion or beauty consultants. That is just not me. Don't get me wrong, I love make-up, shoes, clothes, all things girly, but I know that I could never keep up weekly with trying new products and giving opinions about trends and such. I love me some shoes though so if anything I would definitely be posting about my weekly shoe buys (because seriously I'm buying like a new pair every week!). I like to read these blogs but I truly just love to read about peoples adventures in cities that I don't live in or might not ever get the chance to travel to.
My favorite blogs though to read right now are the ones that are kind of a collection of everything where it seems like they just want to connect with people outside of their own world and that's cool to me. I feel like that's me; more of a "lifestyle" type blog. One day Ill feel like talking about what I bought at the mall, the next day I could talk about my battle with cleaning and organizing my closet, and then start babbling about my obsession with sushi. All that can be jammed in here and I love reading posts like that on other blogs because I could relate and comment.
So the blogs I have chosen to follow are all over the place. I'm still figuring out how to dress up my blog and add more connection links but I will have a section to show all the blogs I check out. But until then I recommend going to bloglovin.com to start!

eBay Anniversary
So randomly today was my anniversary for being an eBy member for 7 YEARS! I couldn't believe it. I have been ordering random items since 2005. I remember back in college I did not have a car so when it came time for key items that I really wanted I would turn to eBay and have it delivered right to my dorm. It was so perfect. I ordered everything from pea coats to jewelry and my obsession at the time; Vera Bradley. Yes I loved those bags but refused to pay full price and found so many people who bought a bunch and sold them for cheap on eBay. I never buy anything used and I am an avid checker of reviews (one bad review and I cant mess with you). But today I just felt like it was a good day to order things so I picked up a couple items and Im so excited about them!
CELL PHONE CASE: I got this rhinestone blingy case for my iphone and I have to say that it is so simple and chic and cute it definitely fits me. I wanted something that was very glam but wasn't an entire case covered in crystals. I love the bow and the fact that you can still see the bottom part of the phone. Now it was only 7 bucks with free shipping! You can't beat that. The downside; its being shipped from Hong Kong and could be here anytime between May 14th and May 25th. OMG thats like a whole month. But for such a cute case ill wait. Until then Ill just stare at the picture.
CHEROKEE MOCCASIN BOOTIES: Now these were a gift for me and I am so happy to be getting these. The ship time is way quicker than the phone case. I am hoping to have these bad boys by Cinco De Mayo. I decided that since downtown is going to be crazy with all the celebratory madness I dont want to be dragging along in my stilettos; it is not going to be a typical club night. But since these are booties I dont have to worry about my legs getting hot and Ive already decided on a cute outfit that im wearing out. I love the fact that even though they are moccasins they can be worn in the spring and summer too! I got them in black but if I am really enthralled when them Ill probably get the tan too. 32 bucks and free shipping again. The original site no longer had my size so I did some digging until I found them! eBay was a winner with me today!

Think Like A Man
So I went to go see Think Like A Man on Tuesday and I must say that this movie really did live up to my expectations. It had everything needed for a good romantic comedy. Laughs, plot, and of course relationship drama. Now I'm definitely not one who likes to go see romantic comedies on dates because it's gross and cliche', but I think that this movie definitely would spawn good conversation with the opposite sex and give more insight into the whole debate about which sex knows the other one better. So I would definitely recommend this as a date movie. My date was my sister Ashley who has very similar tastes in our man qualities, as well how we want to be treated with said man. This in turn made it so much more fun to drool over the delicious men in the movie. We were also able to discuss the pros and cons of how a simple book could spawn so much controversy.
Now this is also the type of movie where I can't completely apply this to my life because of several reasons. These are just some thoughts that entered my head after the movie.
There are NOT gorgeous men like Michael Ealy and Terrence J roaming the streets (especially in Orlando) waiting for me to walk by them or be in the same bar so they can ask me out on a date. If thats the case I wish someone would share the secret location and give me a chance to see them.
Also as awesome as Steve Harvey's book is (Ive read both of them actually) I think I might not be in the right point in my life where I can apply it. Best example: The 90-day rule. My personal opinion is that we live in a time where if you arent "giving it up" not a lot of men would stick around. I get the whole "if hes interested and really likes you for you" he will wait, but most men see it as a red flag or they may want to "test drive" before deciding if this is someone they could see themselves with. Sex is a huge part of a connection with someone and it would be tragic to really like a guy, sleep with him, and it be terrible. Then all your good thoughts about him are tainted.
I feel like the book applies better to woman who are older and are not still going to clubs and college settings where they legitimately have to strike up conversations out of thin air and are not always alcoholically induced. I know currently in my life its hard to find a guy who is nice to look at, has a great personality, a job and or possible career goal, dresses well, and without asking is chivalrous. No man is going to be perfect but I would think its pretty hard to even find 3 out of 5 of what i just listed. Especially when you are in your early to mid 20s. So I guess we shall see what kind of men my late 20s bring me.

Welcome!
I’m really excited to be blogging again. But I was annoyed with seeing all the stuff on my old one. So I decided that I was going to start fresh with a new blog because it’s a new year and a new outlook on life. I really wanted to have something that represented me and showcased my personality. It meant that I actually took the time to customize and make my blog all pretty! I also got a new laptop for Christmas so I now have complete access to the world outside of work. (that’s a big deal since I have been sans computer for 2+ years) So along with working on being less technologically-challenged, I want to be more active on my handy dandy laptop! I have so many interests and I know I can’t focus on one thing so this is my place to cram it all together . I like to have fun and I think I should definitely document it to look back on later. This blog is really for me and anyone else who is interested in reading the random stuff I think about. I feel like my life is pretty cool and I wouldn’t change anything. So welcome and I’m going to do my best to keep it up!
